This mug is from the brilliant Moo and Two: a small independent company from Somerset, whose MooMugs are made by a local artisan potter. However you take your tea, they will have a mug for you!

Why “Milk, no sugar”?

Firstly, it’s how I take my morning cup of Yorkshire Tea.

Second, it’s very good dental advice: don’t add sugar.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Becky Knapp, and I am a PhD student at the School of Clinical Dentistry in Sheffield, England.

This is primarily a place for me to write about my research, but also the process of doing a PhD. It will regularly include tea-related posts, and every so often a bit more about me personally. Whether your interest is studying for a PhD, oral health-related research, child-centred research or drinking tea, I’m glad you’ve stumbled across my site and hope you find something of interest to you here.

All views expressed are my own, and may not reflect the views of the University. Please do get in touch if you would like to know more about my PhD, tea, or me.
